Well done Zimbabwe!

It is good to see Zimb beating the Caribbean team. Zimb's administration has been criticised in recent times but it seems like it is getting better as Streak and Houghten have returned back to the set up as coaches.

As far as the match was concerned, it looks like the spinners had a major say. Benn got 4 for 6 which is just amazing as not often do bowlers get 4 wickets and give away just 6 runs in T/20, but unfortunately for him he ended up on the losing side. For Zimb all their spinners did well. Both Utseya and Price are like robots as they rarely go for many runs. Price has even the distinction of frustrating the maestro Tendulkar himself in a couple of tests long time back with his robotic left arm spin. Interestingly the Windies picked only one specialist spinner, but for Zimb even Taylor bowled a bit of part-time spin. It is a known fact that track at Queen's park oval traditionally helps the spinners yet they went with only one specialist spinner!

It must have been demoralising for the Caribbean team to lose to a team like Zimb and that too they could only muster a score of 79 in their allotted 20 overs! The Caribbean fans must be disgusted watching them bat. It is a bad start for their new coach Gibson.

West Indies were 79 for 7 in 20 overs in the end. How can a team bat out the entire 20 overs and score just 79, especially with their captain-wicketkeeper-batsman Denesh Ramdin batting at 23* of 36 balls! This performance is beyond my understanding!

Abysmal performance for sure as they were chasing only a score of around 100. Perhaps they thought Underwood and Murali were bowling and not Price and Utseya though as I said both aren't bad bowlers.
